The ticketing service offered by ECHO-EVENT and accessible on the website www.echo-event.com, is carried out by the billetweb.fr website.

Participants should be aware that all conferences will be filmed throughout the whole event. SUPERIOR or VIP PASS holders will be in shot and could appear on any recorded images, videos or films that may be produced after the event.

These terms and conditions govern exclusively the sale of ECHO-EVENT tickets – www.echo-event.com

Conditions of Acceptance
By accepting the GTC the participant accepts all the regulations as well as all those which particular or new circumstances would impose. The participant also agrees to comply with all the following legal and regulatory requirements.

ARTICLE 1 – FEES
1.1 Admission Passes
The prices of the PASSES are indicated in euros including VAT. No pass can be sold on site on the day of the event. All purchases can only be made via the echo-event.com website. Seating for the event is limited to 300 so participants wishing to attend the event at the last minute should ensure that tickets are available on the echo-event.com website. As half of the lectures are in French non-bilinguals should rent headsets for translation.

• REGULAR PASS – 2 DAYS : Special Early Bird Discount Price of 130 euros limited availability from the 7th of may until the 7th of august 2023. (valid on November 4th and 5th, 2023 only – headset not included). Regular price: 150 euros

• SUPERIOR PASS – 2 DAYS : Special Early Bird Discount Price of 190 euros limited availability from the 7th of may until the 7th of august 2023 (valid on November 4th and 5th, 2023 only). Regular price: 210 euros.

This pass gives you the right to a headset for the translation of the conferences (see mention on the loan of the headset ARTICLE 7) + advantages (see the ticket service page). 3 months access to INEXPLORE TV contents.

• VIP PASS – 2 DAYS : Special Early Bird Discount Price of 230 euros limited availability from the 7th of may until the 7th of august 2023 (valid on November 4th and 5th, 2023 only). Regular price: 250 euros.

This pass is identical to the 2-day SUPERIOR PASS pass, but gives access to additional advantages: headset included, reserved seats in rows 2 and 3, unlimited drinks (including alcohol), 6 months access to INEXPLORE TV contents, the official ECHO EVENT booklet on the history of ufology (approx. 120 pages), access to the VIP area of the event in the conference hall, fast Track priority access.

• RENTAL OF AUDIO RECEIVER HEADSET : 15 euros
An audio translation headset is included with the purchase of a SUPERIOR and VIP pass. The translation headset allows you to follow the conferences in both French and English.
During the two days of the congress the conferences will be given in English and in French. Non-bilingual attendees are invited to reserve a translation headset.
 Please be advised that these headsets will be distributed at the entrance of the conference hall before the beginning of each conference and will be collected by our hosts and hostesses at the end of each conference. No translation headset can be rented on site on the day of the event.

• ECHO CONSO PASS : 12 euros. The ECHO CONSO pass allows you to buy drinks and snacks in the congress area. As the Sorbonne is a public establishment it is forbidden for any money transactions to take place. The CONSO PASS can be purchased via a QR CODE proposed at the event. This pass gives access to a 12 euros consumption credit valid during the two days of the event for all the products proposed on the BAR area of the ECHO EVENT. This pass can be purchased at any time on site or before the event. This pass is not restricted to one user, it can be used for several consumers.

NOTE ON PASSES:

• ECHO-EVENT reserves the right to move one row of visitors in case of exceptional guests or for the PRESS.
• The wristbands given to you upon presentation of your tickets/purchase invoice at the entrance of the event must be attached to your wrist. In case of loss or theft of your wristband the participant will not be entitled to any refund and will not be allowed to attend the conferences..

1.3 INVOICE
The invoice received after purchase online serves as an entry ticket that must be presented at the reception desk (either via smartphone or in printed form) in exchange for a colored bracelet corresponding to the pass purchased.

1.5 RATE FOR RENTING ADVERTISING SPACE AT THE EVENT

ARTICLE 2 – REGISTRATION OF THE ORDER
Any order placed on the site www.echo-event.com is followed by a recording by our care and by an email within 24h. If the purchaser does not receive any confirmation by email they are advised to check spam box, and then finally contact us directly at the address: [email protected]

ARTICLE 3 – VALIDATION
The visitor acknowledges as to having read and accepted these terms and conditions of sale before the payment of their order. The validation of these is therefore acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

ARTICLE 4 – PAYMENT
The accepted means of payment on the ECHO-EVENT.COM website are: Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro).

ARTICLE 5 – SECURITY OF PAYMENTS AND PERSONAL DATA

5.1 Any transaction carried out via the website www.echo-event.com is secured by the automated payment platform of the company Trustweb.

5.2 PERSONAL DATA
The information and data concerning you are necessary for the management of your order. This information is also kept for security purposes in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations to enable us to improve and personalize the services we offer you as well as the information we send you.

In accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, you can exercise your rights (access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation and portability if necessary) by e-mail to: [email protected]
If your telephone number is collected at the time of your order we inform you that it will be used only for the good execution of the transaction or to contact you in order to keep you informed of a change or modification of its state. ECHO EVENT commits itself to not transmitting your telephone number to third parties. The law n°2014-344 of March 17, 2014 relating to consumption, allows any person to refuse to be canvassed by a professional with whom he/she does not have a current contractual relationship. The consumer can subscribe free of charge and at any time to the opposition service to telephone canvassing offered by the government at the address: bloctel.gouv.fr

ARTICLE 6 – REFUND OF PASSES AND CANCELLATION

6.1 In accordance with article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code tickets for shows are not subject to a right of withdrawal. However and exceptionally in case of withdrawal any ticket order made on the website www.echo-event.com can be refunded if the request is made within 14 working days after purchase on simple request to the email address: [email protected].

Any refund will be made within a maximum of 72 hours directly via the payment method used at the time of the order. The money will be credited directly to the card used for the purchase. Please note that a refund fee will be deducted from the final amount refunded to you, regardless of the payment method used:

• Paypal refund:
Any refund of an order made by Paypal and via Paypal will be refunded with a deduction of 6.4% Paypal commission fee + 3% transaction fee.

• Refund by credit card:
Any refund made by credit card, from an order placed by credit card, will be increased by a transaction fee of 3% of the order amount.

6.2 PASSES are not nominative. Any person who has purchased one or more tickets is free to resell them to a third party. However, the original invoice will be required at the entrance. ECHO EVENT cannot be held responsible for the price of a ticket resold at a higher price than the original price. The purchaser should be aware of the prices of the passes on sale on www.echo-event.com.

6.3 The right to reimbursement is exclusively for the buyer who placed the order on the website www.echo-event.com. A person who has bought a PASS from a third party will not be able to claim any refund even within the aforementioned 14 working days.

6.4 ECHO EVENT declines all responsibility for any anomalies that may occur during the ordering, processing or printing of the print-at-home invoice.

6.5 In case of fraudulent duplication of an invoice used as a justification for the Pass only the first person holding the invoice presented at the entrance will be able to access the event. The purchaser remains responsible for the use made of their invoice (they may be asked to show proof of identity).

6.6 In case of force majeure beyond the control of the organizer and the manager which would impose a complete cancellation of the ECHO EVENT (confinement, threats of attacks, demonstrations, complete or partial destruction of the event venue, etc.), a full refund of the passes will be made without any charge or surcharge.

6.7 ECHO EVENT is not responsible for last minute cancellations of any of its speakers. In case of cancellation a replacement speaker may be offered. In both cases no refund will be made.

ARTICLE 7 – HEADSET RENTAL

The headsets allow you to follow the conferences in English or French. They are not compulsory but they may or may not be included in the pass selected when purchasing your ticket. Headsets will be distributed at the entrance of the conference room and will be collected when leaving the room (during or after a conference). You will be asked to show proof of identity as a deposit when you pick up your headsets in the reception hall in exchange for a wristband which must be kept for the two days of the event. No translation headset can be rented on site on the day of the event.
Your ID will be returned to you upon return of the headphones to the reception. The responsibility of the headphones les with the renter. In case of loss or theft the participant may be asked to pay compensation.
